The Cruiser is the lightest and most portable Dragon model. At 15 kg, it’s 3 kg lighter than the Dragon X9 (18 kg) and 11 kg lighter than the Dragon GTR (26 kg). The 10" tyres give it better stability than the X9’s 8.5" wheels, and the side indicators are a safety feature not found on most Dragon models. The trade-off is a rear solid axle (no rear suspension) and a smaller 18A controller vs the X9’s 20A. In its 25 km/h road-legal mode, the Cruiser meets Australian shared path regulations. The 40 km/h top speed is for private property use only. Check your local state regulations.

Why does it only have front suspension?
The rear solid axle keeps the Cruiser lighter and simpler. The 10" pneumatic tyres absorb most road vibration, so the lack of rear suspension is less noticeable than on smaller-wheeled scooters. For rougher terrain, consider the Dragon X9 or GTR with full suspension.

What is the real-world range?
The Cruiser is rated at 30–40 km. In real-world conditions (hills, stop-start, rider weight ~80 kg), expect 20–30 km per charge.

Can it handle hills?
Yes — the 1000W peak motor handles moderate urban inclines confidently. For steep hills (20%+), consider the Dragon GTR or Cyclone with higher-rated motors.

Max speeds and range stated are those calculated by the manufacturer under controlled factory conditions.  Factors such as rider weight, terrain, hills, power mode, heavy acceleration and riding style can greatly reduce these figures.  Any claim for a refund due to the above falls outside of our refund policy and will be addressed as a warranty claim with the manufacturer.
