How It Compares
The Dragon GT is a strong alternative to the Xiaomi Mi Scooter 3 and Ninebot E2 Plus. Compared to the Xiaomi Mi 3, the GT offers a higher peak power output (500W vs 300W) and dual front suspension — making it better suited for riders who encounter kerbs, speed bumps, or uneven footpaths. It's lighter and more portable than the Dragon GTS, making it the better pick if you regularly carry your scooter on public transport.
Who Is This For?
- Last-mile commuters who ride 5–15 km to a train station or bus stop and need to fold and carry the scooter
- Lighter riders up to ~100 kg looking for a nimble, responsive scooter
- First-time scooter buyers who want a reliable, well-built entry point without overspending
- Students and office workers who need something compact enough to store under a desk
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Dragon GT road-legal in Australia?
In its standard 25 km/h configuration, the Dragon GT meets the requirements for shared path use in most Australian states. Road legality varies by state — check your local regulations before riding on public roads.
How does the Dragon GT differ from the Dragon GTS?
The GT is lighter and more portable, with a 500W peak motor. The GTS has a more powerful 800W peak motor, dual front and rear suspension, and larger 10" wheels — better for heavier riders or rougher terrain. If portability is your priority, choose the GT. If power and comfort matter more, go with the GTS.
What is the real-world range?
Expect 20–30 km in real-world conditions depending on rider weight, terrain, and speed. The rated range assumes flat terrain and eco mode.
Can I ride it in the rain?
The Dragon GT has an IPX4 rating, meaning it can handle light splashes and light rain. Avoid riding through puddles or in heavy rain.
What warranty does it come with?
The Dragon GT includes a 2-year warranty on the frame and structure. Contact Urban Wheelz for full warranty terms and local service support.
